Grace L. Adams

Grace L Adams, 91, of Newport, passed away at 6:25 pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Marietta Center. She was born on January 30, 1921, at Fleming, a daughter of Del and Addie Lee Fleming. She had been employed at Forma Scientific before her retirement.

Grace is survived by 3 daughters, Lela Richard of Galveston, TX, Penny L. (George) Dalton and Carolyn Sue Owens, both of Marietta, several grandchildren, great grandchildren; and 2 brothers and 1 sister: Dean, Herbert and Ruth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Adams, daughter Janet Goddard, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (March 9) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gale Lauderman officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday after 6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to a charity of donor’s choice.
