Gwendolyn Farnsworth Binegar

Gwendolyn Farnsworth Binegar, 89, of Marietta passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013, in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on June 20, 1923, in Washington County, Ohio, to Ora Rutherford and Gale Westbrook. She retired from Marietta College after 28 years and was a member of Marietta Eastern Star Chapter 59.

She is survived by 2 daughters and 1 son: Carol (Gerald) Harmon of Baltimore, OH, Patricia Farnsworth of Columbus, OH, Marvin (Jeri) Farnsworth of Newport, sister Gladys Dozanti of Macedonia, OH, 2 brothers, Paul and Donald Westbrook of Elyria, OH; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Rodger Farnsworth, brother Larry Westbrook and 2 half-brothers, Clyde and Clifford Moore.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Lloyd Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Newport Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 until 1:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
