Hattie Arizona Bigley
Hattie Arizona Bigley, 96, of Lower Salem passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Heartland of Marietta. She was born February 13, 1918, in Monroe County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elba and Lula Jackson Johnson. She was a member of Marietta Bible Center. Hattie loved gardening, quilting and her family.
She was married to William S. Bigley who preceded her in death on January 11, 2000.
Hattie is survived by her son Lester (Vickie) Bigley of Williamstown; grandchildren: Warren (Jaime) Bigley, Kerri Snyder, Torri (Chris) Wears, David (Shawna) Bigley, Dan Bigley and several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons: Leonard, Earl, Fred, Larry “Frog”, and Kelsy Bigley, daughter Carolyn Baker, brother Joseph Johnson and sister Debbie Kuhn.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (May 28) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday after 2:00 with family present from 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
