Herbert “Bill” C. Salser
Herbert “Bill” C. Salser, 91, formerly of Williamstown, WV, passed away at 1:05 am on Sunday, October 18, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Parkersburg.
He was born on September 3, 1918, in Sherman, WV, a son of W. H. and Elizabeth Salser. Bill had been employed by American Viscose.
On June 24, 1946, he married Aubra Huff who preceded him in death on August 5, 1996.
Bill is survived by 2 daughters: Linda Salser Hartshorn of Kenna, WV and Norma Wood of Williamstown, granddaughter Kimberly Anderson of St Albans, WV, 3 great grandchildren: Aerieal Wedekamm, Khali-Naylor Anderson, Gena Anderson, brother Kermit Salser and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a great, great granddaughter, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
At his request, he was cremated and no services will be observed.
