Hugh (Bo) Allender
Hugh (Bo) Allender passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 in Tallahassee, Florida after a short battle with brain cancer. He was born to Hugh and Goldie Allender of Marietta, Ohio.
Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Allender (died at birth) and Henry Allender of Parkersburg, West Virginia; he is survived by his partner, Linda Washington of Lloyd; three sons, Ricky Allender (Wendy) of Monticello, Florida, Billy Allender of Lloyd, Florida, and Rocky Allender (Susan) of Marietta, Ohio; one daughter, Sarah Pomroy (Mark) of Marietta, Ohio; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Hugh served in the Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed being outside and playing with his cat named Kitty.
Graveside services will be held 2pm Saturday, November 28th at Gravel Bank Cemetery. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
