Ida Lee Jones
Ida Lee Jones, 73, of Marietta passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012, at her home. She was born on August 15, 1938, in Pennsboro, WV, a daughter of Dennis and Icie Lipscomb McCullough. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
On December 24, 1955, she married Russell V. Jones who preceded her in death on April 29, 2011.
Ida is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter: Russell Leroy (Tammy) Jones, Michael Jones and his fiancé Donna Marenchin and Dawn Jones all of Marietta; 5 grandchildren, Daniel, Jeremy (Elizabeth), Scott (Letitia) and Jarred (Erica) Jones, Zachary Marenchin and 5 great grandchildren, Paige, Hayden and Camrie Jones and Slayden Turpin, Nevaeh Wheeler
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Keith Jones, brother Willie Smith, and sister Louise McCullough.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (February 3) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gale Lauderman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 and on Thursday with family present from 2-4 & 6-8.
