Irma M. Walker

Irma M. Walker, 86, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday evening, January 30, 2014, at Heartland of Marietta. She was born on August 24, 1927, in Marietta and raised by her grandparents, the late William and Corabell Barth. She attended Marietta High School.

Irma is survived by her son, William “Chicken” Nash (Glenda) of Marietta; grandchildren, Billie Jo Ogden (Andrew) of Lewisville, William Jason Nash of Texas, Dustin Lauderman (Ginger) of Marietta; great grandchildren: Stephanie and Sean Ogden and Lainey Lou Lauderman; sisters: Helen Bell Turner (Elmer) of Grafton, Carolyn Smithberger (Ron) of Marietta, Alma Martin of Beverly.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and brothers, Walter “Pete” Reynolds and Harry “Sonny” Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (Feb. 3) at 1:30 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 until 4. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
