Jack A. Williams, Jr.

Jack A. Williams, Jr, 46 of Marietta ended his 5 year battle with heart failure at 6:55 pm, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 13, 1977, a son of Jack (Lynn) Williams, Sr. and Peggy Sandford Becker of Marietta.

Jack worked for Toll Compaction as Shipping and Receiving for 13 years before retiring due to illness. He was a tissue donor. Jack loved rock music, video games, smoking weed, and hanging out with his puppies Floki and Pope. Above all he enjoyed his family the most.

On July 21, 2001, he married his soulmate Carla Lauer who survived with 3 sons, Christopher (Izzy) Lauer of Marietta, Laikin Williams of Parkersburg and Darrion Williams of Marietta; 6 grandchildren: Serenity, Starleah, Arya, Winter, Kai, and Wayland (Billy from South Park) and 2 adopted sons, Austin and James. He is also survived by siblings: Donny (Kristy), Dustin, Dylan all of Marietta and Russell (Tanna) of Parkersburg and many friends, family and his “Toll-Tards.”

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer “Pops” and Mary Williams, John and Ines Peery and stepfather Donald “Don” Riley, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (June 1) at 11:00 am followed by cremation. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday at 4 until 6 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home.
