James Dean Reed
James Dean Reed, 51, of Cow Run Road, Marietta, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2009.
He was born on July 25, 1957, to Roland E. and Sandra King Reed at Guernsey Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, OH. Jim was a member of Painters Local #93 since 1981.
His wife, Rose Martin Reed, whom he married on December 26, 1981, survives with one son, James Reed Jr., of West Chester, PA and one granddaughter, Lilly Reed, of West Chester, 3 brothers: Jeffery Melton of New Philadelphia, Randy and Bradley Melton of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, Maggie and Chester Daughtery, and 3 brothers in law, James and John Martin and Lawrence Wheeler.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (June 23rd) at 1:00 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Lynch Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 on Monday afternoon.
