James O. Hall, Jr.
James O. Hall, Jr. 64, of Marietta passed away at 3:50 am on Monday, August 2, 2010, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born on March 27, 1946, in Marietta a son of James O. Hall, Sr. and Ida Marie House Hall of Marietta. Jim was retired from Shell Chemical, a member of Little Muskingum Congregational Church, a member of Reno Volunteer Fire Department, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending all the events in which his grandchildren were involved.
On June 11, 1966, he married Mary Jane Nicholas who survives with 1 son and 1 daughter, James O. Hall III and Rebecca (Jeff) Davis all of Marietta; and 4 grandchildren: Eric Hall, Garrett Davis, Jayna Davis, Weston Davis. Also surviving are his brother Steven J. (Janet) Hall of Marietta and his sister Janet M. (Terry) Seidel of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday (August 5th) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Saltzwadel officiating. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 pm on Wednesday with family present from 2-4 and 6-8.
