James R. Martin

James R. Martin, 66, of Williamstown, passed away at noon on Friday (Dec. 9, 2011) at his home surrounded by friends and family. He was born on July 5, 1945, in Parkersburg, a son of John and Thelma Shawver Martin. He was employed at Fenton Art Glass in production for 34 years.

On April 24, 1965, he married Patricia Lauderman Martin who survives with two sons, Jim "Bunky" (Ilikai) Martin of Lowell and Randy (Wendy) Martin of Williamstown; four grandchildren, James, Jessica, Harmony and Gavin Martin; two brothers and one sister, Tony and John Martin and Sylvia Cottrill and his dog, Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (Dec.13) at 10:30 a.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gale Lauderman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
