Janet Apple

Janet Apple, 69, of Fleming passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Marietta Center. She was born on May 9, 1943, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of Otto Lee Fox and Edith Walker Fox. Janet was a 1961 graduate of Marietta High School and attended Mountain State Business College. She was a member of the First Congregational Church.

She was married to Harold James “Jim” Apple who preceded her in death.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Amy Apple; 2 sisters Nancy (Gary) Dailey and Judy (Tom) Forbes and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 11:30 until 1:30 on Sunday (Apr. 7) at the First Congregational Church Parish Hall and a private graveside service will be held. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
