Jeffrey L Silloway

Jeffrey L. Silloway, 69, of Marietta passed away April 15, 2025 at his home. He was born on May 24, 1955 in Olean, NY to Reeder L and Helen (Wolf) Silloway who preceded him in death.

He graduated from Olean High School and 1973 and Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam, NY in 1977 with a chemical engineering degree. In October 1977 he married Anne Griffith.

Jeffrey was in ROTC in college and earned a pilot’s license. He served in the US Army Reserves for 19 years. He loved to travel and was an avid outdoorsman. He also loved to sing and was a church choir member of all the churches he attended. He worked for E.I. DuPont for 19 years in various states and for Chevron for 5 years in Marietta, when he became self-employed as a handy-man.

He is survived by his former wife, Anne, and 3 children Christen (Jason) Craft, Sean (Annick) Silloway and Lisa (Daniel) Chociej and 3 grandsons. Also surviving are brothers Gregory (Janet) Silloway, Stephan (Cathy) Silloway, Lyndon (Cynthia) Silloway, and Richard (Karen) Silloway.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday April 22nd at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home.  Friends may call at the funeral Home from 1 pm on Tuesday until the hour of service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www. Lankfordfh.com.
