Jerry L. Miller

Jerry L. Miller, 74, of Marietta (Pinehurst) went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Marietta on May 2, 1945, the son of Harold and Letha Johnson Miller.

Jerry was a graduate of Warren High School in 1962 and graduated from Andrews Barber College. He had served in the U. S. Army and the Army Reserves for 7 years. Jerry was first employed as a barber at Heyrock’s Barber Shop and was then employed for 42 years by Union Carbide, Gulf, Chevron and Chevron-Phillips as a chemical technician. He was a member of Harmar Masonic Lodge 390 and Sixth and Washington Street Church of Christ. Jerry enjoyed spending special time with his family and especially his church family.

On January 30, 1966, he married Diana L. Biehl who survives with their children: Jeff (Donna) Miller of Marietta, Jennifer Davis of Clarkston, MI; grandchildren: Crystal and Aaron Douthitt and Ronald Lightfritz ; Samantha (Zach) Snider of Waterford, Elizabeth Davis of Clarkston, MI, Austin and Braden Douthitt and great grandson Dallas Snider. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Shirley Ingram, nieces Catherine (Scott) Reynolds and Christine (Vincent) Post III and great nephew V. J. Post and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Thomas, brother-in-law Charles Ingram and father and mothers-in-law, Beman and Mary Biehl and Janice Biehl.
