Jimmie D. “Jim” Grosklos
Jimmie D. “Jim” Grosklos, 76, of Stanleyville passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 14, 1941, in Washington County, OH, a son of Arthur and Glenna Stewart Grosklos.
Jim attended Marietta High School and was the proud owner and operator of Grosklos Plumbing since 1978. He was a member of the Second Congregational Church. He was a fan of Elvis and Dale Earnhart.
On November 23, 1985, he married Becky Morris who survives with one daughter from a previous marriage, Angel Grosklos of Marietta, granddaughter Heidi Grosklos of Marietta; 4 brothers: Robert (Waneeda), Larry (Vicky), Gary (Judy) and Ken Grosklos; sister Jean (Carl) Antill; special nephew Patrick (Michelle) Grosklos, several other nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Nancy Morris, sister-in-law Diane Morris and several special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lisa Ann, brother Lester and wife Shirley, brother Harold, sister-in-law Betsy Grosklos and beloved dog, Gracie.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (June 19) at 1:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Wayne officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
