John C. Rollison

John C. Rollison, 84, of Marietta passed away at 3:00am, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home.

He was born November 23, 1940 in Marietta a son of Herman Rollison and Helen Enochs Rollison. John had been employed by Broughton’s Dairy and later for the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a great father and he enjoyed farming.

On October 14, 1960, he married Allene Bowers who survives with 3 sons and 1 daughter: J D (Sandy) Rollison of Marietta, Donald (Becky) Rollison of Parkersburg, Brian Rollison of Marietta and Melissa (Doug) Christman of Marietta; 6 grandchildren: Chris, Jonathan, Jamie, Courtney, Reece and Ava and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Joey Rollison.

At his request, he will be cremated and no services will be held at this time. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
