Jon David Ellis

Jon David Ellis, 64, of Marietta, passed away at 3:20 pm on Friday, May 21, 2010, at his home.

He was born on August 19, 1945, in Watertown, Ohio, a son of Wilbur and Mary Jane Wynn Ellis. He loved music, playing ball and enjoyed animals and taking rides.

Jon is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Larry (Iris) Ellis of Fleming, Terry (Rosa Marie) Ellis of Waterford, Gale (Carolyn) Ellis of Marietta, Nina (Marvin) Edmondson of Calera, AL, and Jane Ellis of Marietta.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

Private funeral services will be held for family members at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Watertown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday after 2:00 pm with family present from 2-4 and 6-8.
Memorial contributions in Jon’s memory are requested to ARC of Washington County, Humane Society of the Ohio Valley or a charity of donor’s choice.
