Joshua Aaron “Lyfer” Kidd
Joshua Aaron “Lyfer” Kidd, 34, of Marietta has left this world to be with the Lord, family and friends on February 11, 2015, at 6:58pm. He was born on December 16, 1980, in Marietta.
Josh is survived by his wonderful and caring wife, Elizabeth Grace Kidd and his 3 amazing daughters, MaKenzie Nevaeh Channels 11, Keara Layne Kidd 9 and his baby “Pickle” Jaelyn Raine Kidd 5 of Marietta, his loving mother Cathy Dee Kidd of Marietta, father Joseph Eugene Kidd and wife Barb Wilson of Marietta, his in-laws Joe and Lora Smith of Cutler, sister Sheena Dee Kidd and Bev and grandparents Judy and George Zimmerman. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, and best friend Stan Jones.
Josh was preceded in death by Richard and Sandra Felter, George Kidd and beloved Aunt “Ink” Sandra Lynn.
Josh thoroughly enjoyed creating music and rapping, enjoyed watching LaBron James play basketball and was a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan. He enjoyed social networking and loved D-Jaying and karaoke as the “Karaoke Kidd.” He loved people and made everyone around him smile. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. “See you later” as Joshua Aaron Kidd would say. It’s never goodbye.
Funeral services will be held Monday (Feb. 16) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Elizabeth Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the funeral home to assist with Josh’s funeral.
