Junior Garrett Nolan

Junior Garrett Nolan, 90, of Marietta, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, August 14, 2025. He was born in Piney, West Virginia on December 1, 1934 to the late Nelson and Bertha Nolan.

Junior was a member of the Sixth and Washington Church of Christ. He retired from Union Carbide in the early 70’s. He loved spending time with his family, friends, watching westerns, and enjoyed sunbathing. Junior never met a stranger and always had a story to tell.

He is survived by his children: Kathy (Stan) Bailey and Randy Nolan (the late April). Grandchildren: Randy Nolan Jr. (Jennifer Sauer), Tonya (Bryan) Moffatt, Stanley (Denise) Bailey, and Sinda (Kirk) Isner. Great grandchildren: Conner Dyar, Brooklynn Nolan, Kristen (Caleb) Fish, Dalton, Garrett and Wyatt Moffatt, Nathaniel, Mikalah and Kaitlyn Bailey, Jared and Owen Isner. Great, great grandchildren: Maddliyyn, Hazel-Grace, Oaklei and Eleanor Fish, Maisy, Everett and Finn Adams, Ezrah Bailey, Delilah McGown, Dallas and Cohen Isner. In addition to his sister Shirley Roton and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen, an infant son, his parents and 10 other siblings.

Services will be held Monday (August 18) at 1 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home officiated by Roger Rush. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown.
