Junior Swick

Junior Swick, 80, of Fleming passed away at 4:30 pm on Monday, August 12, 2019, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on February 14, 1939, in Petersburg, WV, a son of Evers and Pauline Delawder Swick.

Junior worked at AGA Gas for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He attended Warren Chapel Church.

On April 7, 1961, he married Ruth Ann (Anderson) Swick and they celebrated 58 years of marriage. She survives with one daughter and one son, Robin Swick and Randy (Joanna) Swick; grandchildren: Josh (Kyra York) Proctor, Jacob (Nikki) Proctor, Jayla (fiancé Jared Lang) Proctor, Shaye (Megan) Swick, Cassie (Marshal Cosner) Swick; great grandchildren: Aubrey Proctor, Aubrionna Helmick, Brynnley Proctor, Mason Swick, Sunny Swick, Willow Swick, Hadley Lang, Okelyn Wigal. He is also survived by his brother Elwood “Buddy” (Nancy) Swick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald Swick and sisters, Waneda Riggleman and Mildred “Tiny” Swick.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (August 17) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Warren Chapel Cemetery.
