Karen June Lane
Karen June Lane, 73, of Marietta passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born September 21, 1943, in Marietta to Walter and Virginia Bond Lane.
Karen graduated from Marietta High School in 1961 and Ohio University in 1965. In her early career she taught English and Spanish at Marietta, Fort Frye and Frontier High Schools. She later moved to Columbus then to Indianapolis where she worked for Chase Bank. She traveled throughout the United States as a Trainer for the bank.
She is survived by her brothers: Tom (Cathy) Lane, David Lane, Dan (Jodi) Lane and sister Carol Lane; 3 nieces: Julia Crush, Jenifer Brito, Elizabeth Lane and nephew Joseph Lane. She is also survived by her friends, Sue Adams, Deanna Lane and The Phi Wolfa Girls. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her dear friend, Don Brents.
