Kay Ellen Singo
Kay Ellen Singo, 79, of Marietta passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026 at Harmar Place. She was born on February 14, 1947, in Somerset, PA, a daughter of Donald Arthur and Martha Ellen Trimkey Knoodle.
Kay had been employed as a care giver in private homes for many years. It was during this time she met her life-long friend Mildred Wright who preceded her in death.
Kay was a member of the First Baptist Church in Williamstown and later attended the Unitarian Universalist Society. She participated in the O’Neill Center Senior Day as well as the Day Program at RHDD.
Kay is survived by her sister, Linda (James) Mahoney of Richmond, VA, and 3 nephews, 5 great nephews and her friends, Jim and Rosemary Reed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday (Nov. 5) at McClure Schafer Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends before the service from 9:00 until 11:00. She will be burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
