Kimberly Sue Howard (née Kaneff)
Kimberly Sue Howard (née Kaneff), age 64, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026
Born on March 20, 1961, she was the daughter of the late David Kaneff and Bobbie Eagleson Kaneff.
She graduated from Marietta High School and earned her cosmetology license at Valley Beauty School. A lifelong resident of Marietta, she devoted her life to being a wife and mother. She found purpose in tending to her home and caring for the people she loved most.
As a young girl, she worked at her family’s business, Kaneff Nursery Landscaping and Excavating, owned by her father and grandfather. She especially cherished the dogwood tree and azalea in her front yard that came from the nursery.
She had a gift for creating with her hands. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and cross-stitching for her family, stitching together keepsakes that will remain lasting reminders of her care. She also loved bird watching and gardening. If you were looking for her, you would most often find her in the kitchen, where she took pride in feeding and caring for those she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Howard; her children, Jessica Yoho (Steve) and Katie Nahori (Bela); her grandchildren, Hannah (Brandon), Josie, and Tyler Yoho, and Lukas Nahori; her great-grandchildren, Grayson Yoho and Lyla Schamp; her sisters, Sherry (Bill) Rhodes, Peggy (Clyde) Hall, and Robi (Jerry) Bonnette; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Kay Greene, and her infant brother, David Holly Kaneff.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday (Feb. 21st) at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends before the service at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home from 11:00 until 1:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
