Larry A. Hill
Larry A. Hill, 65, of Reno, passed away at 6:54 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at his home. He was born on December 17, 1947, in Marietta a son of Earl and Audrey Rutherford Hill. Larry was a veteran of Vietnam serving in U. S. Army.
On October 1, 1978, he married Yvonne L. Maston Hill who preceded him in death on August 21, 2008.
Larry is survived by 3 sons: Matthew G. (Jessica) Hill, Chad Hill, Joey L. (Jennifer Tatterson) Hill, 8 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Shirley Wheeler, Ronald Hill, Judith Snodgrass, Ted Hill and Cathy Daugherty and half-sister Beulah Patterson all of Marietta .
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Max Hill and Rex Hill; sister Sharon Strickler and 2 half -brothers and 4 half-sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Nov. 18) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with entombment following in East Lawn Memorial Park with full military honors. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday after 2:00 pm. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
