Laura Dye

In loving memory of Laura Dye, it is with both profound sadness and joy we announce that Laura has peacefully gone home to be with her Creator on [6/2/2024] at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was a cherished and devoted Grandmother, Mother, and Wife. Her faith, love and dependability for her family were unwavering. Laura’s greatest joy was found in her children and granddaughter, Sophie, whom she cherished beyond measure. Their bond was a reflection of God’s love; unconditional and eternal. Laura’s legacy of devotion to friends and family will forever be remembered.
Laura enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking, sketching, painting, and baking designer cakes. Friends and family were recipients of her many artistic creations. She loved giving her Troop #424 numerous experiences as a Girl Scout Troop Leader for many years in Marietta. Laura was a member of Harmar Hill Church of Christ for 44 years. Even though we deeply mourn the loss of Laura’s earthly presence, we find comfort in knowing that she is now in the loving embrace of Christ and her Heavenly Father.
She was born in 1961 at Hokkaido, Japan, and preceded in death by her parents Merle Royden Morgan and Judith Myers Morgan, and siblings Catherine (Sparks) and Brian Morgan. Survivors include husband Larry D. Dye, children Daniel D. Dye, Stephanie H. Dye (Isaiah Mayle), granddaughter Sophie, all of Marietta, OH, and brother Dale Morgan (Donna) of Webster, MA, and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life services to be announced.
