Lawrence W. Ward

Lawrence W. Ward, 81, of Fleming, passed away at 1:25 am on Friday, April 2, 2010, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born on March 20, 1928, in Lower Salem a son of Charles Franklin and Clara Blair Ward. He had been employed at Elks Club and was a member.

On January 13, 1951, he married Hazel Rubrake who survives with 5 sons: Roger Lee Ward of Caldwell, Gary Dean (Dee) Ward of Statesville, NC, Tom William (Angie) Ward of Marietta, Steven Ray Ward and Randy Allen Ward both of Zanesville, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Brian Don Ward and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Monday (April 5th) at 2:30 pm at Green Lawn Cemetery in Lowell. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
