Lena Faye Wolfe

Lena Faye Wolfe, age 92, of Marietta passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019.

Lena was born in Jackson County, Ohio to Roscoe Virgil and Laura Ruth Love Tennant. She attended Jackson County Schools but graduated from Barberton High School in 1944.

On April 24, 1948, she married Charles “Eldred” Wolfe and lived in Akron until 1983 when they moved to Florida after Charles retired.  In 1998 they moved to Marietta to be near their daughter Susan, grandson Scott and son-in-law Daniel Hale. Lena worked in payroll and accounting for many years.

She is survived by daughter, Susan F. (Daniel) Hale of Marietta and son, Roger E. (Shelley) Wolfe of Green Bay, Wisconsin; grandson, Scott Hale and step-grandchildren, Abby Sanford and Drake Sanford; two step great grandchildren, Greyson and Finley and also her brother Charles Tennant of Akron, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles E. Wolfe and brothers, Robert M. Tennant, Denver R. Tennant and Richard S. Tennant

Funeral services will be held on Friday (Dec. 27) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Diann O’Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
