Lillian M. Emerick
Lillian M. Emerick, 97, of Marietta passed away at 9:58 am, Monday, November 2, 2026. She was born on February 28, 1929, on Zion Ridge a daughter of Bernard A. Root and Lulu Brooks Root.
Llillian was employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital in the Medical Records Department and was a member of Second Congregational Church.
On June 12, 1946, she married C. William “Bill” Emerick who preceded her in death on February 12, 2011. She is survived by her sons, William B. (Barb) Emerick of Circleville, OH and Andrew Ray Emerick of Marietta; daughters, Lynn Fulton and Barbara (Paul) Richards both of Marietta, 10 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons, Ronald Allen and Donald Lester Emerick. Lillian was the last surviving member of her family.
