Lillie Britton Wright

Lillie Britton Wright, 81, of Lowell, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, at Cedar Grove Nursing Home in Parkersburg. She was born March 23, 1937 in Ravenswood, WV to John H. and Naomi May (Hudson) Britton.

She married Harold Wright who preceded her in death in 2005.

Surviving is her son Dennis Noland, of Marietta grandchildren Amy Blake and Michelle Hayes and great grandchildren: Isaiah Jamel Kennerly, Katrina Marie Kennerly, Olivia Marie Kennerly, Elijah Jamel Kennerly, Damian Rhodes, Tiffany Rhodes, Brock Buskirk, and Briar Buskirk, a great great granddaughter Averanna Slider. Also surviving are brothers: Donald Britton of Florida, Harold Britton of Alabama, Robert Britton of South Carolina, James Britton of Beverly and Richard Britton of Veto and sisters Mary Britton of Oregon, Marilyn Gump of Marietta and Carolyn Britton of Florida along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lillie was preceded in death by her first husband, Dayton Noland, son Duane Noland, a grandson Zacheriah Jamel Kennerly, and brothers and sisters John, Samuel, Maxine, Ilene and Jack Britton.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, November 16th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rainbow Cemetery. Friends may call beginning at 2 pm on Thursday with the family present from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy can be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
