Linda D. Henthorn

Linda D. Henthorn, 69, of Marietta passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born October 10, 1947, in Marietta where she lived all of her life. Her parents, John and Dorothy Berg Henthorn preceded her in death.

Linda graduated from Marietta High School and had worked at Keystone Shoe Store and Marietta Center. She was a member of the Norwood Methodist Church. She loved her dog “Maggie” and enjoyed growing tomatoes and sharing them with her doctors and nurses.

She is survived by her sister Judy (Lynn) Wagner and their son Lance (Katherine) and their children, Evalyn and Landon; her nephews Jimmy (Justice) Warren and Robbie (Jamiann) Henthorn; her brother Leroy Henthorn; her uncle Carl Berg and many cousins. She is also survived by her best friends, Mary Ann, Joan, Kathy, Patricia and Susie Mayer.

The family would like to thank Linda’s special doctors: Dr. Kelli Cawley, Dr. Rajendra Bhati and Dr. Jeffery Fowler and their staffs. Her sister would also like to thank all the staff at Strecker, Marietta Memorial and Hospice for their loving care given to Linda.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Strecker Cancer Center would be appreciated.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday (Aug. 13) at 2:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Don Archer officiating. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
