Lorna Ball Hope
Lorna Hope was an artist who studied at the Art Students League in New York. Among her extensive artwork and writings, she created and wrote the musical The Land Beyond Forever, which was produced in New Jersey and Charleston, WV. She also lived in Staten Island, NY and Charleston.
She is survived by her children: son, Carson Wayne of West Palm Beach, FL; daughter, Catherine Wayne of Marietta, OH; daughter Lorna Wayne of Marietta, OH; Heather Hope-Allison of Los Angeles, CA; and four grandchildren, Emma Allison, Eleanor Allison, Lance Wayne and Corey Wayne. She is also survived by her brother Henry “Pat” Underwood.
In addition to her parents Lorna was preceded in death by her brothers, Clyde Oliver “Mike” and Thomas Underwood and husbands Raymond L. Hope, Jr. and Charles “Chuck” Wayne.
Service for Lorna Hope will be held at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Monday, August 12th at 2pm. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the services. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
