Lorraine Hundley
Lorraine Hundley, 97 of Marietta passed away Thursday Oct. 15, 2026. She was born March 24, 1929 in War, WV to Arnold and Kathleen Martin.
She began her career as a teacher in West Virginia and continued for many years in Marietta City Schools. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Marietta. She enjoyed reading, quilting, travel and feeding the birds.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Peters Hundley. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Hundley and Andrea Wheeler, her sister Louise Wolfli and brother Roy Martin, her grandchildren Emily Wigal, Julia Wheeler, John Wheeler and great grandchildren Kassandra Wigal and Elias Wheeler. She will be missed.
A viewing will be held at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home from 6 to 8 on Monday Oct.19. The funeral will take place on Tuesday Oct. 20 at 11:00am First Baptist Church of Marietta.
