Louise Zimmer

Louise Zimmer, 83, local historian and author, died Monday, December 21, 2015, at Brookdale. She was born in Detroit, MI, to Ralph and Lorena Waterman McAtee.

She married David Zimmer who preceded her in death in March, 1979. She is survived by four children: Ann Hess, Sara and Chuck Beaver, Dave and Teresa Zimmer, Mary Zimmer; grandchildren: Aaron and Katie Hess, Christy (Pete) Moran, Amie (Ed) Murphy, Scott (Jessica) Zimmer, Chad Zimmer, Tara (Dustin) Nigro, John Weber, Brenda (Kristopher) Simons and 14 great grandchildren.

One daughter, Janet Zimmer Weber and her husband Dave Weber both preceded her in death.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday (Dec. 26) at 1:00 pm at Gilman United Methodist Church with Pastor Diann O’Bryant officiating. McClure-Schafer-Lankford is assisting the family with arrangements and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
