Margaret A. Fryman

Margaret A. Fryman, 83, of Fleming passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Selby General Hospital. She was born on September 20, 1941, in Marietta a daughter of Clarence Thrasher and Edna Jones Thrasher.

Margaret retired in 2007 from Washington County Department of Job and Family Services. She enjoyed doing word searches, going to the races (dirt track), Cleveland Guardians and camping and sitting by the camp fire.

On July 12, 1959, she married Darrell Fryman who passed away in 2007. She is survived by her sons, Franklin Fryman (Sherri) of Ridgeland, SC and Randy Fryman (Brian Anderson) of Fleming, OH, grandchildren: Daryl Sparks (Amy), Ryan Strauss (Jessica), Missy Fryman, Gregory Fryman, Michael Sharp (Monica) and Samantha DunLavy (Sean); great grandchildren: Cheyanne Hart, Aliza, Cora, Brody Sparks, Austyn and Carson Bellville, Avery and Evan Strauss, Cayleigh and Carter Mallison. Also surviving are her sisters, Marie McKena and Diane Sciance and her brothers Ronnie Thrasher and Donald Thrasher.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Judy Strauss, son-in-law Dan Strauss and grandkids Alicia Strauss and Alex Strauss. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Katie Mankins, Mary Ann Boley, Dorothy Griffin, Carolyn Jordan, Ruth Cline, Janice Richards, Leroy Thrasher, Bob Thrasher and Kenny Thrasher.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday (Apr. 10) at 3:00 pm in Gravel Bank Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:30 pm. Thursday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
