Margaret I. Pugh
Margaret I. Pugh, 78, of Vincent, passed away on Saturday evening, October 1, 2011, at Muskingum Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation in Beverly.
She was born on March 5, 1933, in Lowell, Ohio, to the late Dorus A. and Estella Miller Decker. She had been an active participant along with her late husband, Lewis Pugh, in training and racing of Standard Bred Horses. She was a member of American Legion Post 64 Auxiliary and a member of Barlow United Methodist Church.
Margaret is survived by 2 stepsons, Robert L. (Patricia) Pugh of Barlow and James N. (Sharon) Pugh of Titusville, FL, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Marie Decker of Norman Park, GA and brother Dorus J. (Ruth) Decker of Louisville, OH, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lewis Pugh, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (October 5) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Barlow Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon after 2:00.
