Marjorie M. Luke
Marjorie M. Luke, 74, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011, at 9:10 am, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born on August 2, 1936, in Marietta a daughter of Herman L. and Jewell Irene Milton Black. Marge had worked as a caregiver. She was a member of Harmar Hill Church of Christ.
On June 16, 1962, she married Randall Wayne Luke who preceded her in death on October 7, 2001.
Marge is survived by her nieces and nephews: Michael Theobald, Rebekah Haislip, Jonah Theobald all of Virginia and Rachelle Theobald of Oregon, several great nieces and nephews, and her fiancé, Roy Lewis of England, who with his love and support made Marge a world traveler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister Maxine V. Theobald.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Cawley and her staff for all the special care given to Marge.
Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Thursday evening (July 7) from 5 until 7:00. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park.
