Marjorie “Maxine” Farley

Marjorie “Maxine” Farley, 83, of Marietta passed away at 11:00pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family.  She was born May 10, 1933, in Marietta to Raymond James and Hazel Marie Willison Becker.  

Maxine was employed at Harts Family Center for 32 years.  She was a life member of VFW Auxiliary Post 5108.
 
On August 24, 1961, she married Raymond “Pat” Farley who preceded her in death December 24, 2013.  Four children survived:  Terry Dimit of Flushing, OH, Nancy (Ted) Ball of Marietta, Rick (Darlene) Dimit of Marietta, Bill (Sheri) Dimit of Waverly, OH; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 4 step children and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.  She is also survived by one brother and one sister: Dorothy (David) Mossor of Marietta and Don Becker of Whipple.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Tressa Blume.
 
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Feb. 27) at 11:00am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastors Jack Brown and Dustin McMillon officiating.  Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8.  VFW Auxiliary services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm on Sunday.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
