Marlyn A. Theobald Oliver
Marlyn A. Theobald Oliver, 70, of Reno passed away at 8:05 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 2, 1943, in Battle Creek, MI, a daughter of Dean and Clara Schick Theobald. Marlyn was retired from RJF International.
On December 31, 1970, she married Robert F. Oliver who preceded her in death in 2007.
Marlyn is survived by 3 sons: Robert F. (Barbara) Oliver, Jr. of Lebanon, OH, Stephen C. Oliver of Marietta, Michael A. (Melody Dearth) Oliver of Marietta; 4 grandchildren: Robert F. Oliver III, Bryan David Oliver, Michael James Dye, Rachael DePuy and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers, James (Martha) Theobald of Reno and Roy (Tammy) Theobald of Wingett Run and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday (Sept. 24) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Newport Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday after 2:00 with family present from 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at lankfordfh.com.
