Mary Alice Cole
Mary Alice Cole, 85, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Marietta Center.
She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on December 17, 1925. Graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan with degree in physical education. Married Daniel W. Cole November 17, 1945. She was involved with local garden club, girl scouts and wife of a past international director for Lions International. A member of the First Baptist Church of Marietta and Eastern Star of Clarksburg, West Virginia.
She is survived by her three daughters. Libby Cole Sushka and husband Bob of Atlanta, Georgia. Ginny Cole Ferguson and husband Fergie of Marietta, Ohio and Judy Bachman and husband Al of Round Lake, Illinois. There are 10 grandchildren and 6 great children in Ohio, Michigan, Texas, and Georgia .
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 4th, at 2:00 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Dr. Gerald Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday after 4:00pm. Online condolences may be sent at: www,mslfuneralhome.com.
