Maysel Eupha Scarbro McCloud

Maysel Eupha Scarbro McCloud, 94, of Marietta (Devola) who was born on July 28, 1918, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012.

On April 9, 1939, she married Ermine McCloud who preceded her in death on December 29, 1993. She is survived by 2 children: Kenneth (Laura) McCloud of McLean, VA, Peggy (Glenn) Selfridge of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren: Kathleen McCloud of Annandale, VA, Theresa Alexander of Hillsboro, OR, Michael McCloud of San Diego, CA, Scott Selfridge of Hagerstown, MD, Elizabeth Crooks of Manassas, VA; great grandchildren: Jonathan Alexander, Matthew Alexander, Julia Alexander, Victoria Selfridge; step greatgrandchildren: Jessica Embly and Jennifer Embly; and her sister Camma Gaskins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ayward Scarbro and sister, Orpha Treadway.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Nov. 1) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Barbara Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
