Melba A. Robey

Melba A. Robey, 88, of Marietta passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013, at Marietta Center. She was born on November 15, 1924, in Stockport a daughter of William A. Wagner and Frances D. Harper Wagner. She was a graduate of Stockport High School. Melba was a Homemaker and member of the Ladies Eagles Auxiliary and a Methodist by Faith.

On May 18, 1946, she married Charles Kenneth Robey who passed away on November 27, 1991.

Melba is survived by 3 daughters: Sandra (Clarence) Grady of Marietta, Betty (Robert) Pergament of Los Angeles, CA, Marta (John) Henrie of Marietta; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her sister Betty Beyer of Canton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and a sister.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday (Mar. 14) in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
