Melissa (Missie) D. Cornell
Melissa (Missie) D. Cornell suffered an untimely passing on May 12th, 2010 due to a bicycling accident.
She was born on Jan. 12th, 1980 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Fred and Debra Vandale.
She was a very kind hearted person, who was always willing to help people out. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved her family very much.
It is sad that she was taken from her family and friends so early in life. She is sadly missed by all that knew and loved her. She will live on in our memories. Missie, we will always remember you.
She is survived by her husband Matthew Cornell of Marietta, Ohio. Her two children: Catherine Sayre and Kevin Heiss, her sister Priscilla (David) Boyles of Northwood, Ohio and her brother-in-law: Thomas Cornell. Along with many other special friends and family.
Memorial services will be held at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home 314 4th St. Marietta, OH at 11 am on Monday May 17th with visitation starting at 10 am.
She will be interred with her father, Fred Vandale who preceded her in death, at East Lawn Memorial Park in Reno, Ohio.
Missie, we will always love and remember you for all time.
