Merle W. Hall
Merle W. Hall, 80, of Marietta passed away at 9:30pm, Friday, September 4, 2026 at his home.
Merle was born November 29, 1945 in Marietta, a son of Alonzo T. Hall and Lucille Miller Hall. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a sales representative for Bonhams, and Kremers, and later for Danka Office Equipment. He was a graduate from Marietta Highs School.
Merle married Esther Ruth Groves Hall who preceded him in death. Two sons survive, M. Whitten Hall, II and M. Wesley Hall, both of Marietta; 4 grandchildren: Mahria Hall, Michael Hall, Malana Hall-Soto, Merle Whitten Hall, III.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Alonzo Thomas Hall, Jr. and Gary Ford Hall.
The family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am on Wednesday (Sept. 10) until 10:30 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with graveside services following at 11:00 am in East Lawn Memorial Park. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
