Minnie Louise Hall Mendenhall
Minnie Louise Hall Mendenhall, 90, of Marietta passed away February 25, 2017 at the Harmar Place.
Born near Beverly Ohio July 26, 1926, she was the second child of John William Hal1Sr And Freda Irene Biehl Hall. Louise was a graduate of Waterford High school ,class of 1944. She had been employed in the offices of Crescent Supply Company and Haessly Hardwood Lumber Company. Prior to her husband's retirement and their return to Washington County, she had been the Administrative Secretary for nine years at the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Ky. She was a member of Hills United Methodist Church, the Hills United Methodist Women, American Legion Auxiliary, and Lower Muskingum Historical Society. Louise was a former member of National Secretaries Assoc of Oil City, Pa. and the Paintsville chapter of Business and Professional Women. In her retirement she enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, quilting, reading and dinners with friends.
On September 14, 1947 she married Calvin Emmett Mendenhall who preceded her in death on June 5, 1997.
She is survived by her daughter, Claire Elaine Mendenhall and a sister, Elnora June Ransaw and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by a son Craig
Emmett Mendenhall, and brothers John William (Bill) Hall Jr. and Wilbur Dean Hall.
Funeral services will be held 1:30pm Tuesday, February 28th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park.
