Nancy Kea Michaelis

Nancy Lea Michaelis, 86, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, faith, family, and cherished memories. She was born September 19, 1940, in Newport, Ohio, to Ernie and Ada Dye.
Nancy married Richard Stanley Michaelis in 1958, and they were blessed with 68 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered around family, faith, and love.
Nancy was a devoted member of Pinehurst Christian Church for 68 years, where her faith and service were an important part of her life. She lovingly served as a Sunday school teacher, pianist, and Tuesday School helper, touching the lives of many children and families throughout the years.
Nancy was a dedicated volunteer at Warren Elementary School and served as a volunteer EMT for Warren Township for many years. Through her willingness to give her time and care for others, she made a lasting difference in her community.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Richard Stanley Michaelis; her two daughters, Vanessa (Allen) Rowles and Wendy Mitchell; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Ada Dye; her three brothers, Gene Dye, George Dye, and Carl Dye; her two sisters, Elizabeth Lauer and Dorothy Welch; and her beloved twin grandsons, Owen and Grant Burns.
Nancy will be remembered for her deep faith, devotion to her family, kindness to others, and many years of faithful service to Pinehurst Christian Church. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love that will continue through her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
