Nancy L. Carpenter
Nancy L. Carpenter, 66, of Marietta passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016, at her home. She was born September 25, 1949, in East Liverpool, OH, to Hubert S. and Betty L. Coleman Morgan. She was a graduate of Ft. Frye High School and had retired from B & I. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tonya J. Davis of Marietta and Amy L. Williams of Haven, KS; two grandchildren: Jonah Scarbro of Marietta and Hannah Fickisen of Belpre; five brothers and sisters: Sondra L. Venham and William S. Morgan both of Marietta, Frederick J. Morgan of Belpre, Kathy L. Marshall and Victoria R. Moore both of Marietta and her mother Betty L. Davis. She was preceded in death by her father Hubert Morgan.
A memorial service will be held at New Life Church at 325 N. Seventh St., Marietta, at 7:00 pm, Wednesday (June 1) with Pastor Chris J. Gimpel officiating. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
