Norman D. “Norm” Pape

Norman D. “Norm” Pape, 79, of Marietta passed away Saturday evening, December 21, 2019, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Norm was born July 27, 1940, in Marietta a son of George F. and Ruth L. Giffen Pape.

Norm was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1958, and Marietta College, Class of 1968. He was employed for 38 years as Controller at the Ford Dealership. Norm served in the U. S. Army XVIII Airborne Corps and was a member of American Legion Post 64, Sons of the Union Veterans Civil War, Civil War Roundtable of Mid-Ohio Valley, Civil War Trust, Washington County Historical Society, The Castle, Friends of the Museums and the Humane Society of the Mid-Ohio Valley.

He is survived by his nephew, Bruce (Cheryl) Hall and niece, Carol (Jeff) Marshall and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Judith Pape Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday (Dec. 28) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Roger Rush officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
