Norman W. Montgomery
Norman W. Montgomery, 61, of Lower Salem, passed away at 6:45pm on Friday, June 24, 2011, at Heartland of Marietta.
He was born in Marietta on June 6, 1950, a son of Earl and Edna Simon Montgomery. Norman worked 37 years at Fenton Art Glass Company, was a member of Masonic Lodge #390, a member of Elks Lodge #477 and was a graduate of Caldwell High School.
Norman is survived by 6 brothers: Larry, Warren, Fred, Butch, Roger, Richard (Janie) Montgomery; 3 sisters: Polly Cotsaradis, Myrna Wardeska, Darlene Sue Stull; 2 half brothers and 2 half sisters and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Eddie.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (June 29) at 1:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor James Fernihough officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday after 2:00 with family present from 2-4 and 6-8. Masonic services will be held on Tuesday evening.
