Oma Richards

Oma S. Richards, 63, of Marietta, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 4:20 am at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born on March 3, 1947, in Marietta, a daughter of Elton Woodrow and Rachael Irene Morrow Parker. She was a graduate of Marietta High School.
Oma is survived by 1 daughter and 2 sons: Sheila (Brian) Reynolds of Marietta, Paul (Delores) Richards of Reedsville, and Alan Richards of Marietta, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 sisters: Janet Boyce, Sue Dugan, Sis Elder, Charlene Hill and Thelma Mae Baker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and daughter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (March 15th) at 1:30 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Floyd Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Burnt Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 2:00.
