Patricia Jeanne Wright Kilmer

Patricia Jeanne Wright Kilmer, 69, of Marietta went to be with her Lord and Savior after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at her home.

She was born on May 22, 1941 to Robert and Mary Becker Wright and was a 1960 graduate of Lawrence High School.  Patricia was a member of the Number 9 Community Church enjoyed scrap booking, sewing and quilting for her family.  Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy.

On July 15, 1977, she married David H. Kilmer, who survives with her children William D. (Jill) Reed of Marietta, Tammy Cobb of New Matamoras, and Steve (Tina) Reed of Marietta.  Also surviving are sons Daniel (JoAnne) Kilmer and David D. Kilmer, both of Marietta, grandchildren Anthony (April) Voll, Mollie (Chris), Ethan and Seth Reed; Johnny (Christy), Levi and Ty Cobb; Lisa (John) Brunoni, Ashley (Josh) Doherty, Andy Reed, Josh, Matt and Aaron Kilmer and Melanie and Kelly O’Brien.  Great grandchildren JW and Isaac Cobb, Gabriella Brunoni and Rylie Grace Doherty, and brothers: Ronald (Julia) Wright, John (Betty) Wright, David (Bonnie) Wright and sisters: Marian (Bill) Russell, Rose (Jack) Casto and Judy (Eddy) Miller also survive.  She was also Aunt Patty to numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Saturday, April 30th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with John Wright officiating, burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 pm Friday with the family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. 

The family wishes to thank Dr. M.K. Shah and the nurses at the Strecker Cancer Center, Little Muskingum Volunteer Fire Department and Hospice.  They would also like to give Barb from Hospice a special thank you for all of her special care and kindness.
